GARELLI CDI = No lights?!?!?

þλ†Я¡¢k §¡§ΩИ /

I must have missed something because when it runs the

headlight is low when its at wide open throttle as if it was

@idle. The horn is very faint. Tail light barely registers...

brake light doesnt fire. All worked fantastically before

putting in the CDI. Please help

Patrick

quick strip and snip..the connect was probably dirty or something..

Re: GARELLI CDI = No lights?!?!?

I am also having a hard time getting the lights working properly with the cdi installed. I was thinking it would be alot easier if i just re-wired the whole lighting system in a way that makes more sense (tail/break lights off of blue & headlight/horn from yellow) Would there be any issues in doing this or is their a reason that its wired so crazy??

Re: GARELLI CDI = No lights?!?!?

Im betting alot of you are forgetting to ground out a coil. Look in the Wiki, simple

Re: GARELLI CDI = No lights?!?!?

if the coil isn't grounded, you wouldn't have lights at all. are you using the green noi cdi from Ed? are you using the stock lighting coil or did you switch over your old ignition coil to the light side? that's really the only way to go...
