infuser included with airfilter and jet kit

ok so i bought the filter and jet kit from 1977 for my tomos arrow r and i installed the new jets and man does it run better now, but my question is how to remove the stock infuser??????

Re: infuser included with airfilter and jet kit

so when they say infuser, i believe they mean emulsion tube

you may be able to remove it by taking out the jet and gripping it with pliers throught the venturi.

but if you look at the holes on the engine side of the said 'infuser' they should be big enough that they wouldn't restrict fuel flow.

i doubt you'll be running a jet that big.

may be though

Re: infuser included with airfilter and jet kit

you can just pop the tube out from inside the throat of the carb, its just kind of stuck in there. pop it out. put the new one in and tighten the jet down to push the tube in all the way.

Re: infuser included with airfilter and jet kit

ok so pop it out from the bottom of the carb or the middle and am i popping it down or up thanks

Re: infuser included with airfilter and jet kit

ok thanks shes in but another question why is it smaller than the stocker the stocker was 209 ga and this is 210 ga ????????????????????

Re: infuser included with airfilter and jet kit

its more of a matter of flow and taper rather than big and small.
