peugeot spring

Pete *YouTube: Moped Problems* /

I got the variator performance spring from Treats for my 103. I can't mount it right thought. Do I have to get rid of my kick stand to make this work right?

Re: peugeot spring

possibly yes. not uncommon to have to do stuff like that to make it work.

Has anyone used the polini peugeot spring? I've never heard a review or opinion on it.. hmm. Its 55 bucks compared to 110 (doppler spring).

Re: peugeot spring

Was it the doppler spring?

Seriously, no one has used it or has comment? Thats bullshit.

Re: peugeot spring

I've used it, works fine. My only complaint is the spring is little to week.

Re: peugeot spring

doppler worth every penny

Re: peugeot spring

or build your own... I don't bother with buying them anymore. Plus I found even a better setup that will be cheapish!

I dont need it to be perfect, I just need it to prevent that immediate jerk-back when I accelerate off the line. I would want it to be perfect if I wasnt into launch levering.

I like taking manual control much of the time (lotsa hills here), just need something to keep the engine from flying back and jerking back down in the lower speeds.

Re: peugeot spring

what about adjustments on these? more tension vs less, is each "tunable"?
