do i have to remove oil injection if i put on a kit?
depends u can premix and have oil injection (not advised) or just premix (advised) i am just quoting what i have read so the search would have given the same answer
technically you can modify your injection to give a more generous ammount of oil. what year bike do you have? i have been hearing from people who know their shit that the new system works very well.
anyway most of us ditch it just to be safe. its also nice to be able to choose the exact mixture yourself. but yeah if it fails, it will trash the shit out of your top end and maybe crank.
i run stock oil injection, maybe add a ounce of premix every tank to play it safe.
my bro's got a 04' tomos running no pre-mix kitted 14000+ miles, no seizure.
its up to you, i like to take mine apart and run the lines better, and make sure everythings kosher, if you need some advice/pictures shoot me a email.

Why risk it? I'm not saying that it's going to fail but it could. I have yet to hear of pre-mix failing.
I destroyed a top end on my aprilia rs50 wail doing 75mph on the freeway. The cable that connects the throttle to the oil injector (oil amount is variable to how much throttle you give) slipped out starving the of oil. 12k rpm - oil = very smeared piston.
yea its a 2005 how can you adjust the oil amount? i have been realy considering on just removing it. but its my daily rider to work and i work everyday so dont realy have time.
