I just picked up 1979 Maxi 2 for parts.
Got it running to see how the motor runs... had to put on my carb to get it running. But it runs great and shifts good.
I am a E50 guy so I am going to sell the motor.
Question.. it has the black magneto cover... I think I read that means it has the roller pin end crank... anyone know if thats true or just a urban legend?
The magneto cover doesn't matter, It's the black transmission cover ones that are supposed to have the wrist pin bearing.
