Related to not seeing any reviews? I think theyre great. Alow for the clutch to grab at a nice high RPM. Comparable to the "blue" springs.
Hey Roberto,
You say comparable. So if you had the choice between the Paz springs and the blue ones which would you go with?
I ask because after I removed my clutch, I was surprised to find that I had the blue ones. So now I'm in the middle of the rebuild and have the both at my disposal.
no no no you dont want the paz springs
you want the ZAP springs. much better
Blow me Maitland*
Paz springs for the most part are exact copies of the puch blue springs. Since there spring rates are almost exactly the same they will perform the same.

my paz springs work great .it stalls perfect when i first start out but once it gets warmed up it wont stall for me untile i cool it down.
i just took it apart again and turn the screws in one half turn more .see what that does
nope it didnt help ,im getting tired of pulling this clutch,im about ready to go back to stock springs
Paz, can I get some springs direct? I need 3 for my new cutch, just give the the $$# and the email address and I'll send the paypal.
Or should I just get them through 1977?
(They work great, but my buddy stole mine for his 3shoe)
cocolo what kind of tranny fluid are you running.
and when you say stalling, i'll assume you mean slipping.
type F
yea the slip is awesome but then its gone once it gets warmed up
dude clutch tuning is the most time consuming part of moped performance tuning. the best way to do it is work out a fast system.
lean your bike to the left against a wall when u pull off your clutch cover that way u dont have to drain fluid. you only need 2 screws and u can use a spanner on the magneto as opposed to stuffing the cylinder with rope.
makes it go a lot faster that way. keep tightening, and honestly you really should lighten the clutch shoes for optimal results. that does way more than tightening the springs.
ive been useing the method you mentioned ,i just tightened it more so were off for a road test now
good luck! yeah no matter what its a huge pain in the ass but toally worth it
coco, your problem has nothing do with the springs. Its more so your tranny oil. Get the best stuff you can and you will lighten the effect of it heating up, but even the best of stuff isn't going to perform as well after it warms up. That's just life, not the springs. You don't notice it much with stick springs because they don't slip enough to notice.
maby you have too much in there coco, try lettin some out
mobil1 synthetic 5w20
do it, you will love it.
lee, why are you the only non-latebird person that realizes this? Its the best choice in my opinion.
I guess i had it set too loose i made it more tight ,it still grabs sooner when its warmed up but now its much better,
0w-20 is 5 better.
Ever tried Motul Transoil?
so how many turns in from flush did you end up at?
i turn them all the way in then about 3 turns out
they don't sell 0w20 in sf. weeksauce. what does that number stand for???
tommy im well aware of 5w 20.
except it makes a za50 rev too awesome and shear magneto side of crank :(
im sticking with 10w-30 for longetivity.
