Does it suck? Where can I get one besides 50cc.nl if it doesn't suck. I'm running a Proma Country right now with my 70cc Airsal kit and 15mm bing set up... I'm looking for better low end.

Hate to thread jack but is 50cc.nl any good? Insane shipping, etc... But I have heard somewhere that the Grand Prix is a good pipe.
proma gp is a great pipe, especially if it's a little more low end oomph you're after. treats usually has them/can get them.
Can I assume that it's much better than a Country which is basically just like a biturbo without the ugly baffle...
i'll say yes to that, especially if it's low end you're looking for.
How shitty is the top end? Will it still open up?
My first expansion pipe was the biturbo. It was dog until 20 mph, and then it slammed in and i was at 35 in seconds. I have the GP and I don't think it opens up like the biturbo did, but the power band is much lower with the gp, but I feel it provides a better overall acceleration through the power band. Just my opinion. Oh, I ran the biturbo on the stock cylinder and a metra 65. the gp I only ran on the metra. Hope that helps!
Yeah. That sounds like me. Takes like 10 or 15 seconds to hit 20, then it takes off... I should get a GP just to see what happens. They are pretty cheap no?
proma gp is a rad pipe. Really good for 50cc bikes. Won't take advantage of the top end power a kit gives you but will give you a nice long smooth power band.
Cheap too. $75 bucks maybe. Bwmji usally has them.
Can I hit 45 with one?
easily with a kit. There's a girl with a ported 50 that easily does 40 with one.
ahhhh, the proma GP the only pipe uglier than the biturbo.
if you are going to spend less than 100$ on your moped get a tecno boss, it blows every other pipe away in that price range. also if you want more low end, the pipe is the last thing in your list you should be adjusting.
check your compression. if its spot on, increase it by decking your head or adjusting your gaskets.
check your clutch. if its spot on, lighten the shoes and tighten the springs or upgrade to a 3 shoe clutch.
with an exhaust you have to take away from one rpm range to noticeably add to another. yes there are some pipes that peak earlier but the only way to add RIGHT off the line torque is to work on the motor not the pipe. well thats not true you can always throw your stock pipe will hella backpressure back on and RIP all the way to 34mph =P
I'm not so much interested in lightening my clutch shoes. I'm gonna tighten the springs though. I still think the proma country/biturbo suck balls.... I just want something different. Why you gotta hate on me Harold? ;)
OH and I'm running the stock high compression 50cc head with my Airsal 70cc. It's got really sweet compression. I think tightening the clutch will help along with some Wheel maintenance. I took out the axle on my front wheel today and there was hardly any greas in there and a ton of grit. That can't be good for my low end. Plus I have some loose spokes and need to tru the wheels up... I found all sorts of stuff to work on today...
