i did the case with a hand drill and cone shape grinding bit,i did one side at a time then put the two halves together to finish fitting. it took me all nite long to do it.

once i finally got the cylinder to slide in then check for the piston skirt clearance,i used a dremel to remove that part of the case.

be very careful to pay attention to make sure you are leaving enough case area for the base gasket to seal and dont get too close to the studs

the carb is 21mm pgbh race carb .im not sure what jet it came with thats what im running,it just a little rich

the lights are 12v leds from autozone i run a 12v coil the leds i soldered wire on them then slid them in a aluminum tube that i had recycled. its easy to make

I reccomend a head gasket. Or two. Those things run to high PSI.

gila over metra is a easy choice , reed valves and no need to weild the case. the metra spits gas out the carb.

i put 3 tanks of gas thru the gila ,i really like the power it has going up these ohio mountains. i am haveing trouble with my starter clutch but the kit works great,fires right up,runs smooth and very quiet with the dmp pipe.

babooze has a 70mph fast gila ,my gila is not the fastest out there but then again i wasnt looking to build the fastest ped.

how do the gilas compare to the metras when it comes to reliability and not fucking it up?
