In what order (from easiest and most cost effective to least easy and least cost effective) should I mod my pa50 to achieve greater speed?

Pipe first
whats a good pipe, and how much of a speed increase
on a pa50?
unless you can fab up your own pipe,
kit --> carb ---> variator grinding ---> pipe (try to fine one :( )
so I should get a kit
How fast do you want to go?
When we modded our PA50I, a PA50II ramp plate and rollers, plus a PA50II reed block, manifold, and carb netted 27MPH. Total cost was less than $100.
Later, we modded a cheap pit bike pipe, ported the cylinder, and we got to the low/mid 30's. Cost was less than $40.
Any faster than that, and you'll need to spend bigger bucks!
I just bought a Malossi 70cc kit off of Ebay, and it was SOO worth the money, I only weigh like 130 LBS. but I can get up into the mid forties NO problem, I think I could go faster if I had the nerve to do it, but I need to wait for my new brakes to come in and probably some new tires too. My uncle who is a full grown adult, probly like 185 or something, was riding with his GPS and said that he got to 40 and it was still climbing. And the best part is (for some people) that it's just as quiet as when it was stock, except after you go above 35 MPH then it starts to get a little louder, I think because that's just about when it starts to throw fire because the engine is turning so fast it doesn't have time to burn all the fuel. I could be wrong about that, it's definitely louder after 35 tho.
that sounds great ...how much was the kit...and how much work involved
Have you seen this?

I'm starting to feel like a broken record.
no matter what you do, ive heard unless you mod the variator, youre gonna get about 44 tops
thanks linda
44 would be fine actually 35 would be fine
was reading another page ....they suggested that a kit would stress the moped too much...and you have to keep an eye on it
