high speed, inexpensive, newb mod...

... to your work space that is.

Small work space? need to clean up fast? Going on a short test ride and you don't want to leave your stuff all scattered on the sidewalk? No money for professional garage storage solutions?

Behold the Bucket o Bolts Technology!

I can't take credit for the idea I was introduced to it a few years ago by Creature G. I was bored towards the end of work today so I thought I'd share. It seriously makes cleaning up, and searching for nuts and bolts super fast and tidy.

Peace!

I like your art style

Re: high speed, inexpensive, newb mod...

ELLIOT ORTIZ!!!

Re: high speed, inexpensive, newb mod...

I have borrowed into the idea before this....I drilled holes into two army ammo cans and bolted to the side of the rack i=on the back and with an old tin from the goodwill store...I have all the elements together and with me all the time. To even it out, my tools are on the other side with the spare tubes and assorted others......

Lovely idea though for home and or storage.

i love sketching, rafter we should sit down with nate sometime when i get back and sketch up some moped custom rod concepts n stuff.

I'm (very slowly) working on a ped in CAD so will be easy to take a look at what a puch would look like in different colors/finishes and wheels etc.

check out the wheel i made it up last night the spokes took a bit of figuring out but i think i got it

Re: high speed, inexpensive, newb mod...

what program you using?

the wheel is in rhino cuz i needed to brush up my skills in it, but i am going to import it into Alias studiotools to build the rest of the bike, its alot faster. then i'll probably use alias image studio, or Maxwell to render it out.

sneak peak:

i think i need to rebuild that wheel tho while looking at a ped wheel picture cuz the proportions are all off for mopeds, i was looking at a dirt bike wheel pic. then just squished it skinny to make it look like a moped one

Re: high speed, inexpensive, newb mod...

We have a seat or two of Rhino here at work. Inspires me to get on one. Looks nice.

whats your field?

yeah rhino is pretty good it is a nurbs modeler and pretty cheap too, faster than solidworks and pro E thats 4 sure. but not as advanced as Alias and slower to work in IMO. but it stitches up to solids easier than alias does.

I prefer Alias but most places can't afford it.

Re: high speed, inexpensive, newb mod...

mech engineering at an aluminum boat company at the moment. we use Rhino for hull surfacing. rest of the structure/systems stuf is worked out in solidworks or autocad.
