I have an A and a B, figured I start with the A; anyone think differently, why?

I use an A, i had a b in a b cylinder but siezed it. (not due to it being a b piston tho)
now i use an a in a b cylinder works great thousands of hard fast miles on it, never a problem
Was wondering the same thing. What really is the difference between them?
size
If you can't bore or hone the nikasil, why would they have different size pistons? I understand why they would for a metra...
cuz the tolerance in manufacturing is never exact so they break it down into A,B,C and D.
that would be my guess
Thanks elliot; rumor has it your fast so I'll give the B/A combo try.
Thats an 'A' piston in a 'B' cyl not the other way around
I have never seen Polini pistons, but if they all look the same but have different letters on them, it could be from the mold they were made in (if they cast they). Just like in plastics.
polini's warehouse guy says the difference between an A and a B is a thousanths of a mm.
