i heard that if you bevel the jet on a bing carb you will get a cleaner flow of fuel. has anyone else heard this. maybe someone could give me some insight on this. what kind of performance can i expect if i do this.

bevel?
cant see a performance increase. might mess up your jet.
if you wanted more fuel going through the jet then you'd just use a bigger jet.
waste of time.
Seems rational but because fluids don't stretch or compress at worldly pressures it wouldn't make a diff. When dealing with gasses though it's different
Oops, I guess ocean tides go up and down and that is worldly but maybe the whole planet magma and all is going out of round from lunar gravity
Beveling or taper cut jets work in automotive applications.Don't ask me why cuz I don't know.My VW bug was having carb problems when someone told me to taber the jet. I tried it and it is still working today.
did you try using a bigger jet?
they come slightly tapered already! if you taper it more with anything but a lathe, it will and up all rough and your jet will be ruined. you VW problem was probably just fixed when you took the carb apart and put it back together.
