bad idea

just get 2 feet of air with out a support bar.

that should get you to where you want to be

No answers here, I was thinking around the line of using a 13 or 14" wheel instead for a more guinue chopper look, that is IF I can find a decent frame, want to keep my present original as is.

I have a 14" wheel and drum brake front end from a Kawasaki KZ 110 that would work great for a chopper project like you're taliking about. I can even get you any length of tube you need. email me at: revomagic1@comcast.net

Re: Puch chopper, how to do the fork?

Lester Read, in those pics with the black chopper custom. Ghost Rider.

rewelded fork tube. i think magnum length EBRs. Custom foot pegs.

Exhaust scrapes some, and it is a bitch to steer straight.

thanx joel, it is a bitch to ride

This is a long shot and I know it's an old thread but where do you buy fork tubes extra-long 30 mm???

Just buy EBR tubes that are longer, treats has different lengths you can choose from.

Re: Puch chopper, how to do the fork?

Yeah, Treats has the real long EBR's with the chopper style headlight brackets and cool springs up top....in chrome or black...

Re: Puch chopper, how to do the fork?

I don't know if they would fit but some of the pocket bikes have springer forks that would look flat ass cool.

no one or no where is going to have chopper tubes for your tomos. You are going to NEED to either weld something custom, or combine parts your self and learn what will fit.

Re: Puch chopper, how to do the fork?

There was this company, i guess theyre still around called "hard knock" that made a small moped-sized chopper with a lifan cub clone motor - the kikker 5150.

It was dumb as all shit but you can still buy the springer forks from those for only $150:

That should be fairly easy to adapt to a puch.

Re: Puch chopper, how to do the fork?

That would look cool. Do a drag style moped.

Re: Puch chopper, how to do the fork?

I've heard from the hard knock fb page that there has been orders placed to that site and no shipping no correspondence. So beware.

I say this with sadness because I need the front disc brake parts, and I'm not brave enough to risk it.

Re: Puch chopper, how to do the fork?

some dude put those forks on a tomos'd indian that ty and maybe goodnick were working on summer before last. That's about as recent a success as i've heard from hardknockers.
