3 shoe starting point for dummies

Sorry, i tried searching, even looked at the wiki, all i found was some incredibly crazy shit about weights and machines that spun things and the like, and all i came away with is SHIT those dutch take mopeds seriously....

Anyway, i got a out of the bag 3 shoe from treats, its going on a case matched e50 with a metra 65, a techno circuit pipe and a 19mm dellorto.

If im shooting for torque, can someone give me and idea where to start in regards to these screws?

Its not got crazy spings in it, tis just stock.

Re: 3 shoe starting point for dummies

The stock springs in those things are TOTAL shit. if you dont have performance blue or paz springs, try and get three springs from the stock two shoe clutches. they are MUCH better. Either way, turn them all the way in till the bottom of the screw is flush with the bottom of the shoe. then turn it out for 720 degrees for maximum performance.

Dont forget to tap the holes in the clutch or else you will never get your clutch off.

Re: 3 shoe starting point for dummies

what about the "performance" springs on mopedshop.com for puch?

how do those rate compared to blue/paz?
