Puch high compression header

What are the effects of putting a high compression head on my e50. powerband change? or is my engine going to get hotter?

Re: Puch high compression header

The header is part of the exhaust. The head is the head. HC heads are my preference. There's a slight improvement in power. Don't worry about it getting hot. Get a colder plug if anything. If you have a stock cylinder with a HC head, try an NGK B6HS or Champion L86C (Auto Zone can look up the other brands' equivalents for you).

Re: Puch high compression header

I usually refer to the header as an exhaaust manifold, but your right. I kno the cooling fins are way bigger on this head and thought it might run hot.
