Yeah dude, you might need more air. You can either drill a couple of SMALL holes in the airbox until you get the desired result, or get rid of that airbox and put something else on there(an air filter as opposed to a box), then jet accordingly.

If your plug is black you need more air, if is white you need more gas.

raise your needle pin???

On most carbs, raising the needle increases fuel for the 1/4 to 3/4 throttle range. Don't know what carb you have, so this is a general statement.

If it is 4-stroking only at full throttle, then down jet.

ditch the aircleaner.. that sachs air filter is super restrictive.

remove the manifold and rotate it so if faces forward out the right side. then get a 12 or 14mm dellorto, ditch the choke cable and go from there

my carb, a square bing(85/12/104a), dont have the needle pin... i swiss cheezed my box and used some panty hoze as the filter(thanx gf) just jetted til i wasnt 4stroke, but was gettin good top..... low was pretty shot tho, but i dont really care..... im on a middle # out of the jets i got, the bigger one 4stroked hard....
