how can i make my ped a key start or at least a kill switch w/ key you think i could pick up somethin like that at an auto parts store?

thinking about doing this to my tomos as well...
to add this just cut your kill swich wire, mount this where you want it, run wire from it to the kill switch and bata bing bata bang you have a key on your tomos that locks your ignition!

thank dude so i can just get rid of the kill switch and replace it with a key makes sense my head light blew out what could i use for a replacement or could i use a car head light as a mod?

if you just took the wires off of your kill switch, drilled the hole (for the key switch), mounted the key switch and connected the wires it would work as a locking likk switch.

i would just get a new bulb...
take the otherone out and take it to napa or something...

Today i just went to my local moped dealer and there is a kit for the key start.
It also depends on what moped you have? do u have a LX, st, or what?
i have a lx and you need a different one then other mopeds and i can just mount it next to the spedo

If security is what you are after, I would consider a hidden second kill switch. Any moped/scooter thief who has youtube knows how to bypass a key ignition on one of these guys.
