I finally got my puch metra 80 running today after 6 months. I'm running an aftermarket 3 shoe with springs from a Korado in it. I have them 1.5 turns out from all the way in. I can't get the bike to move at any rpm. Any ideas for how much more I should go out?

what does this really mean?
if it won't move at any rpm the motor is not running correctly. Ie needs tuning.
if u are referring to the clutch spinning out too much then just pull the screws out some more. whats your gearing?
It means the clutch isnt expanding so it just sits there even at 7-9,000 RPMS
...then logically you have the clutch springs too tight, no?
yeahhh, thats probably way too tight.
2 turns out is as tight as you can go, you have to go farther out from that point, not farther in.
Thanks for the input. I"ll try 3-4 turns out if I ever get time to make it to the shop again.
Sorry, but its a bigger problem than turning your clutch screws. I installed a clutch on a 50cc bike and had the screws 1.5 turns out and it worked fine. Same way I have my 80 kit set up.
