one issue is the carb mount size restriction. but you can get a aftermarket case to solve that.
also can get kits, pipes, performance clutch.
then you can swap in bravo/grande/si rear wheel so you can use a variator, then get performance variator. then you can get new gears for the rear hub reduction that give you less of a reduction and thus more fastness.

First upgrade I did to my ciao was a 13.13 carburetor, a malossi air filter, and a Sito+ exhaust. The sito is only a small performance enhancer, but I wanted to keep the bike looking pretty stock.
do not post as me again...
you can cut the crank/port the case for free, but its pretty hard to get it apart and back together without wrecking the bearings. the stock SHA dellorto can be drilled out, the stock intake can be drilled out, and there are a lot of pipes floating around for ciaos these days.
you can also put a smaller pulley on the back.
what ??
so where would i be able to get a variator ?? or a performance one? i would love to make my moped fast but how fast could it really get?
100+ maybe
so ok do this first.
Pipe
13.13 carb
Filter
Kit
You can variate it but with SS you can hit 45 and higher easier. But you will have no bottom end. Almost worse than a puch IMO.
Mine hits 40-45 with a kit pipe carb and variator the rear gears are holding me back and i can feel that they are holding me back
so is there any way to make it have good bottom end and decnt top end?? i really want it to look bone stock but make it able to cruz with street speeds... or would it be easyer to get a higher model moped like the si or somthing to make it better all round ??? im planning on buying a second one here in the next few pay checks. any ideas
