So, we all know him, or at least of him, because of his awesome bikes that he wont sell to us.
I contacted him on the 11 bikes for 1950, and decided to post up the e-mail, because I feel bad, and want to share my frustration.
Going to c&p from my e-mail, nobody flame him to his e-mail please, as I'd still like these bikes if I can get him to come around.

We'd like to offer 1500 cash for the lot. I don't feel that's too much of a
low-ball offer, some of those peds are desirable, but I know you haven't had much success selling them as single bikes.
I'd bring a moving truck, and a friend to load them.
I know you have quite the collection of old bikes, and I hope you'll consider my offer, as I'd really like to get the chance to meet you.
I'm part of the Denver moped club, we fix these old things and ride them around the city, as well as other cities. We've been to one Moped Army rally, and have three more planned this year. The bikes would be in a good home, sure to be enjoyed and used foryears to come by our members.
Feel free to call me, or e-mail me. I might need a day to secure a truck and funds, but that 1500 offer will stand until you accept it.

(The next is a second e-mail I sent to him, that he didn't respond directly to)
I guess since I have your ear, I might as well ask a few more questions...
Which of them are running/have been running this season?
What model are the vespa piaggio, are they Bravos or Ciaos.
Is the Motobecane Variated, or not.
Is the Peugeot a 102, 103, or TSM (toptank).
Are the Pinto and Swinger ones with a rear suspension, or are they rigid.
Is the badger a stock badger, or is it that one with the wierd tank that was on clist a while ago?
Know that's a lot, just things that might make it a bit more intresting for me.

Huge hit to your bank account!!! wow $135 a bike is a huge hit,????I`m sure you`re looking to buy bikes dirt cheap and turn em,don`t play your "poor boy" games with me.not interested in your business
(And my final, as of yet unresponded to message, which I expect to be ignored on)
You're starting to sound crazy, Frank.
This is my Moped Army account, that's my rat ped in it. http://www.mopedarmy.com/resources/mod/zakre/
My e-mail even matches!
And here's a link to the Denver gang related posts I've made on Moped Army, I try to keep our club organised. http://www.mopedarmy.com/forums/discuss/search.php?f=1&search=ZackE+DENVER+-re&match=1&date=2008-05-08%2010:18:16&fldauthor=1&fldsubject=1&fldbody=0&x=1,90
It's such a long address because I refined the search a bit, so it doesn't just pull up every single post I've made ever.
Yeah, we'll flip some of them, but not like you're thinking. We sell to friends, never let a bike get out of the circle. That way they don't end up in storage and dumpsters ever again. About six of those will probably get sold for around 200-250, after they're fixed and well restored. Heck, we've got two of us putting money into this, and a third who has the time to fix it. The fixing guy gets most of any actual 'profit' there would be.
Mopeds aren't about money..
But you've already decided who I am, and you don't seem like a very flexible person. Hopefully someone with the disposable income will come around and put your bikes in his shed for you, so they can continue to gather dust and be forgotten about.
