I talked to Benji. I was told the intake I need to properly mount my 16.16 Dellorto he doesnt have until next week maybe, and 1977 is sold out of the intake that sets your carb off to the side to clear the frame. Anyone know if the SHA carbs will run if pitched at a sideways angle? I was told this might work for the time being until I can get my hands on the right intake.

The float doesnt need to be leveled out to work?
Depends on the angle, you can pitch a carb to about 30-40 degrees sideways. Just see if it works, if it works it's no problem :P
yeah mine is pitched pretty far over and still works fine.
I have the intake benji sold me with my 16.16 sha. I sold the carb but I still have the intake. It has been mildly ported. make me an offer if you like i can send you a pic on monday.
I'm interested Todd. I just got a kit for my franco morini MO1 but the new intake faces forward... no good. I need one that goes to the side. I have the 16.16
Too late, I jumped at this intake, I needed it to mount my carb I badly needed to fit.
