do you have a V8 or something to reach 12, 000 rpm with that gearing?
A 50cc would reach 12k much easier than a V8. You'll probably have to take into consideration the gearboxes internal gearing also.

Start with what you know..
lets say the diameter of your wheel equals 22 inches total.
thats a circumference of 69.08 inches or 5.76 feet
one mile is 5280 feet
you your wheel needs to turn 916 times to travel one mile
or 916rpm would be one mile a minute or 60miles per hour
multiply that by your gear ratio of 2.4 and you get 2200rpm at your output shaft.
I don't know the internal gear reduction of puch so figure that out and multiply 2200 by that and you get crank RPMs @ 60mph. From there just change your varibles as you please
If it was 5:1 inside the case youd be spinning 11000 @ 60mph...
