its hard to beat a tomos on the hills.
i live in ohio and i know what you mean infact i bet the hills are bigger in this part of ohio .it sucks haveing to peddle up hills.
heres my puch hill eater setup
16/40 gears
DMP pipe
65cc athena kit
17mm amal carb
high comp head
i can blast up hills and still get good topend 45mph
where would i get a pipe like that
Around here 15X45 is good
MWH has some comming in next week .this pipe will climb big hills i could never climb before!
now i can go many more place i could not go before
what's that dmp pipe like? i'm unfamiliar with them.
same as tecno estoril
where can i get an esterol pipe for a puch?
REALLY? now that's interesting . . .
no for real thou i need to know what the best set up for torque is? and where i can get an estoril pipe at? or that copy pipe you were saying?
estoril is the best pipe for torque, everybody and their mother agrees. as for where to get one right now, that's kind of the $64,000 question. you'll notice there are three or four WTB posts for them in buy/sell.
i want to hear about this dmp pipe, because if it's really a clone of the estoril . . . i want one!
theres hills in ohio?
well best setup for torque ,if you dont mind playing the odds,i think would be a polini 65cc kit big carb and proma circuit pipe.
we have monster hills in ne ohio
another torquey pipe to look into is the proma gp.
fuck yeah we have hills....if i knew how to grade hills i'd give you real specs but i live in medina a city an hour of cleveland and about 45 west of akron and we have nasty like hey i cant even bike up this hills. and yeah im deff into checking out that other dmp or wat ever pipe and im trying to deside between the metra 65 or the polini 65?
and coco where in NE ohio?
nvm i just looked up where stubenvile is and wow your out there....i was gonna see if you wanted to ride...lol

yea im out here i have the only moped in 100mile radius
i would have to agree with that cept maybe pitt but other than that even like akron and canton are pretty far. sucks! well if you need anything gimmie a holler! i'm only a jump, a hop, and a skip away!

One bike I'm running that's kinda torquey is a pinto w/ stock cylinder (#1 open transfer I think) w/ a square 16mm intake (bored 14), a 14mm bing (72 jet?), a 50cc HC head, high flow bing filter, two-shoe clutch lightened (92g) and with Paz springs, Proma GP pipe, 14/45 gearing, on snowflakes with IRC NC53 2.5R/2.25F. With this set-up I'm toping out just over 30 on the flats, have great acceleration and can climb just about anything (steep grades for miles on end) at about 23 mph. I'm at 5600' above sea level and weigh in at about 180.
metrakit anyone?
the easiest to install and torquiest kit on the market is probably the metrakit 65, might take a while to find one, but they are worth it. combine with an estoril or dmp for super torque action, combine with sha 16/tecno boss/clutch tuning for super all around dustin'
run low gears 14:40 or 15:45
15/45 climbs great but rpms are at the top.with 16/40 i can cruz half throttle 25/30 mph and the rpms are just purring
whats a good site to find 16/40 sprockets?? or anyone wanna sell me those 2?
40t may be hard to find but 16-18 is available. 18-45 works good for me too
What gears do you have? I have a 12t front and an unknown rear one that I'm not using. I can count up the rear one if ya wanna trade? A 12/45 setup would have amazing torque, but not a very high speed. For torque, go down in the front and up in the rear. For speed, go down in the rear and up in the front. I'm pretty sure you don't want a 40t in the rear if you want torque. You definately don't want a 18t in the front. That will steal all of your torque.
16/40 works on the big hill of ohio so does 18/45 with 2-1/4 tires
I have a 38 rear I'm not using. I was running 14 x 38 and jsut switched to 16x45. Might go with 17 x 45 though.
