I had the same problem, and switched to a clamp mount. It's the best option but I don't totally like the way the clamp works. It's kind of hard to explain but when you tighten it, the pressure is concentrated in one area, instead of all the way around, and because of that I can never get it tight enough. I am putting on some springs to secure it to the intake, because one time it was slipping off which caused a huge air leak and I seized.

I had to grind out some of the swingarm so that the idle screw wouldn't hit it. Not a big deal, just use a dremel and a tungsten carbide bit.
