I know some of you folks out there run 21+mm oko's....well what do you think of them? I've heard that kehin jets fits them, is that true? Anybody with info throw it out here.
Thanks,

Thanks,
shhhhh...theyre sick. yes they run keihin jets. finding air cleaners for them is a pain.
Brucioooo!!!!
do these guys have like, a web presence of any sort? whats the advantage to using them over kehin/mikuni? how small do they get?
21 is the smallest ive ever seen. they're basically chinese rip offs of keihins. having held both a 21 keihin and oko side by side i cant tell the diffenerce.
ive already said too much...
actually motomatic sells them if anyone is interested. they got 21s and 24s.
how much for a 21mm? if you can have him email me.
Holdensnow@gmail.com
pause i'm dumb is that a store or person.....cause i couldnt find either....i guess ive been living under a rock?
Pretty sure they make a 19mm flat slide, not positive.
any word on where i can get this?
Just got 19mm blk oko carb from treats for $73... A friend said I can use dellorto jet coz oko jets are shit! I hope this is a good enough carb coz I couldn't afford a dellorto 19!
hmm really.
what's wrong with the oko jets? other than the fact you cant buy individual sizes.
i just got one, like it so far, the flatslide response is definitely palpable for me.
Glad to hear you like it... Just ordered mine last night. My friend was just anal I guess... He's a fan of all high end shit. I think oko will just do me just fine. :)
my mikuni tm leaked eventually..
OKO=poo. Get a real keihin or get smart and get a Mikuni tm24.
^^^^ + 1
what is poo with the oko so i can plan ahead for tears, regret, and anger? is it technical failings or something inherent in the design? so far it mostly acts like a smaller tm for me.
nothing wrong with OKOs. Sure, there are nicer carbs, but these are cheap and work well. As with any clone carb, don't overtighten anything because they're more prone to stripping out than a real dealie.
super old thread, nice bump.
oko whats that? Whats a motomatic?
I had all phbgs , then I got an OKO . Very impresive for the price . Quality is pretty nice except the metal float bowls screw holes dont line up . Two match , two dont , one is easy to make work . Once I got over that fact and realized two wont leak a drop of gas I was happy . I did have to learn how to select a needle better . And adjust the float more accurately . Now Im better for it and like OKO a lot . Air filters are all over ebay for cheap too . All around jetting is easier to get in range .
Awesome, thanks for the honest review. The two screws was weird but the injection molded gasket on the float seems like it'll take care of all that as long as it isnt torqued down bigfoot style.
an OKO is a clone of the keihin PWK carb. the PWK's are used as top choice on many modern 2 strokes, and they are a superbly designed carb. and EXPENSIVE. almost twice the price of a mikuni tm. the OKO is a good clone. having held a pwk and a oko hand in hand..the casting is clearly better on the pwk. i've also been warned that the brass on the oko's can be weak. one big bonus is that all keihin internals can be transplanted into the oko.
to be simple..it's a chinese(or korean maybe?) knockoff of an excellent carb, and the repop is pretty good. i've used a 24 a bunch..works great. for the money you really can't beat it.
also..you can't beat their english translations on the box. it's hilarious. get one and you'll see what i mean
Thanks Andrew! Just bought a blk blk oko 19mm... About to put it on tomorrow. Glad to hear about it! :) do you know where I can get keihin 19mm internal parts... I plan to replace the oko parts. Thx!
oko's got the powerjet 24mm which is the shit.
Love oko's been running them a a couple years, got mik's on my rd, have del's (real & fake) on peds; for the money oko's are hard to beat.
yeah they arent too bad... the jets and needles are cheap as hell... the quality of the materials is kinda poopy but you get what you pay for.
Derek what's the scoop with your rd. I'm an rd nut, i have several, one is tweaked out hard.
Shortened frame, custom seat, rz front end, dual front disc, clipons, moto-carrera rear sets, stageII porting from moto-carerra, decked heads, tz intakes, banshee crank and pistons, crossover boost bottle, tdr reeds, 30mm mik's, 2 to 1 uni-pod, specII pipes, and a chinoy cdi, not much...
The scooter guys I might in maui all ran 28 okos. They love them and build stupid fast bikes with great throttle response.
Blk Blk 24 oko Powerjet ftw
