"Tomos a35 and Puch e50/za50 top ends are swappable."
Is that true? Corey and I tried to put the Polini that used to be on his maxi up to his Tomos and the Polini skirt was too big...

Maybe it only goes Tomos--->Puch and not the other way. You could cut the skirt shorter?
where was it too big? also, several other kits are able to fit, such as the 80cc metra kits.
I had an a35 that had a puch 60cc athena on it. Maybe it's only a select number of kits.
I also know the 65cc metrakit fits A55s.
I just put a stock puch cylinder on an a3. It should work fine.
Will the 80cc Metra kits fit an A55 with a little work. And if so, what needs to be modified? Who has the best price on a Metra kit?
yes it will work. you should portmatch but its not necissary. the ports on the tomos a55 are already very big and the metrakits are piston port without the 3rd transfer on the top. if you have a reedvalve cylinder like a polini you have to case match because of this.
uncle snords is ripping around on an e50 with an a35 top end, so i know it works in that direction for sure.
Puch 80cc Metras don't just fit right up. fact. they don't even fit right up to a puch
putting a puch topend on an a-3 requires at least the stud holes to be drilled out. the kits are a crap shoot, but they all can fit. since when was anything in mopeds plug-n-play
