the consensus i've heard is that the little oval is preferred.
the tube with the oval gets in the way of variating i do believe. it came on non variated bikes.
at least it got in the way of mine
the long tube one is uglier and therefore inferior. haha.
why not try em both? make sure you got good crush gaskets.
