where? its tapered :) BLING!!
the smallest diameter. I would be chopping off the swivel flange most likely.
the ball head is slip-fit, and held on with springs... you dont need to chop it off. Sell it to some other doppler owner who wants a spare.
Sell me the bracket that holds the springs! I lost mine.
I want your balls. Joints.
i already gave you mine rafturd.
first I actualy need to buy the pipe. And I news to know the smallest diameter near the header.
allen make your own, i did
make it out of jb weld. true pro moby style!
Yeah I did but it's kind of jank....
Ugh, you moby guys...
Can somebody PLEASE measure the exhaust header?
Jeez, It's been one day and I just saw this thread.
Also, I need need your ball joint.
I saw this a couple days too late. I already threw my Doppler on my moby along with the springs. There is no way in hell I'm gonna try and take off those springs for the hell of it.
Are you gonna be a Richmond? We'll talk then.
sorry vic. i threw my doppler in the trash.
Just ask squid nate. He has already fabricated a doppler pipe....
I have a doppler pipe in a bag in my room in my house. in my apartment building. In SF. I could meaure it for you. Here's the thing: I don't have any calipers or even a functioning camera. I could guess, but I could do that right now.
Just go measure the inside diameter of a exhaust nut on a stock exhaust and that's probably how big it is. It certainly can't be much bigger.
i sold my motobecane, i cant check the stock one anymore. thanks for trying though bret.
by the sound of it, I think it will probably work. I just didnt wanna buy one and find out it has a tiny header. the exhaust port this is going to match up to is HUGE.
At it's narrowest, it is 3mm wider than an United States Quarter.
Brett, you are awesome. This is right up there with setting timing to an upside-down NGK sparkplug tip.
Thanks? I pride myself on making do with whatever i can find lying around nearby.
