50cc, looks like nicer transfers?
I saw this and wanted one too, do you know if that company ships to the us, i found it somewhere else and they did not.
if you get one let me know about it please!
becanerie does ship to the USA
I do not know which brand it was but Nick (of quarterkick here in Kalamazoo) purchased a stock like cylinder for his moby and all it did was perform a lot like a stock cylinder would perform. I doubt you are going to be getting any performance boost from it but it does make for a nice stock replacement.
49 diameter is not 50cc.
Transfers make all the difference even if it was. Bret runs a 50cc Doppler kit that smokes (over 50mph) and Eliot ran a 50cc Bindolet that also blasted over 50. It's all in the porting.
49.9cm3 = 50cc?
bidalot?
yes i hear good porting helps ;) a few moby owners have mentioned that...
Ooops....I guess I'm so used to reading the measurements in diameters, I didn't even notice it was in cm3.
yeah, bidalot....that the one...
He means the design of the transfer ports in the cylinder, not "Porting work" performend by the end user. Our french bikes go fast because we bolt them together and tune them properly, not because we make heavy modifications. They go faster if we did, but honestly I'm lazy and pretty satisfied with what I've got.
Yea on an av10 that extra transfer port gives us with no work what hours of porting on a puch gives you.
sorry - by 'porting' i did indeed mean to refer to the design and construction of the ports as pictured on said airsal kit.
I have this very cylinder kit. It is essentially stock, although the porting is more like the AV88, so it runs a little better then the AV7 stock. Nothing special though.
