I've been looking through some PHBG threads but I can't seem to find my answer. Also, don't link me to the PHBG manual. I have it at home. I've read it. I'm at work and can't download it and thought someone might just know whats up.
I know about the needle and the clip settings. I've got that. What I'd like to know is, what is the differnce between the other needles you can get. I heard they are "different tapers" but what does that effect? Does a w6 run leaner than a w7?
the needles are different from the taper length of taper n diameter. diameter effects the actual mixture in the first 1/4 of throttle piston lift the taper effects the rest of the mixture.
diameter taper to length of taper
w6 is 2.5mm diameter, tapers to 1mm length of taper is 24mm
w7 is 2.5mm diameter, tapers to 1.4mm length of taper is 18mm

Did you measure those diameters and tapers or did you pull them from somewhere? Just curious to see the tappers along the whole needle range.
