Re: Camino/Hobbit LC kit

Typically, the water pump runs off a custom 'long' nut fitting on the stator. You remove the stock one and replace it with the custom one. It has a long end to which comes out far enough with a grove on it. The pump has to mount inline with it obviously and the little belt is nothing more than an o-ring gasket on steriods.

And yeah....those links had everything you need, cylinder, piston, head, hoses, pump.....NO RADIATOR. Need that otherwise you might as well not even put the rest on.

Re: Camino/Hobbit LC kit

i guess just about anything can be used for a radiator like a heater core from a car or a radiator on a small liquid cooled dirt bike or maybe even a piece of baseboard forced hot water heater pipe

Re: Camino/Hobbit LC kit

Yeah, or you can use an actual radiator designed to get rid of engine heat.

Try one from a cheap chinese scooter. They are readily available everywhere and don't cost a thing.

Re: Camino/Hobbit LC kit

seriously. also the small KTM dirtbikes are hydro. like the KTM65 series.

Re: Camino/Hobbit LC kit

Thanks for the info guys, kit now on order.

Have a radiator from a modern 50cc lc scooter from the local scrap yard to go with it.

I'll add to this post when the parts arrive.
