Hey, lucky malossi owners, what letter is your piston? Like, an H? what is it? I'm trying to get a replacement part for a girl in SF and I need to know what typically comes in these kits. Either a letter marking off of the piston or an accurate to the .01mm measurement would be flipping fantastic.

my piston has 6R stamped on the top, and is 43.00 on the dot. If you dont mind me asking, are you looking for rings or extra pistons? If you find either that would work for this kit lemme know eh? Thanks,

answered my own question... they have pistons but only A B D and H types... anyone know the differences? probably a size thing but can one piston type work in any cylinder?
also, the ring size seems pretty standard, 43x1.5 mm... anyone know where you might be able to find them stateside, like a ring distributor or something?

heres my piston. im trying to figure out what, exactly, this code means. theres clearly an "OS A" but also on the top theres a marking thats either a "C" or an "O" struck slightly off-center.

Malossi part No.: 35 2483B for the 43 x 1.5 ring for the 62cc kit. Ask any malossi distributor for that part and they should be able to get it to you if it is still being made (iffy since the kit is not).

im trying to find exact piston sizes. i carelessly bought an "O" size replacement piston. apparently it is a replacement for pistons with no letter mark or for ones with an "O." diameter apparently = 42.92. having a hard time getting a real precise measurement on my bore, so any info about markings would be helpful.

That off struck O is most likely the mark that the piston stop makes. It's in the same spot and looks the same. Keep you from getting thrown off in the letter marking.

I believe that my piston is a "C" and I ordered a D replacement piston hopeing that the cylinder will wear a bit and accept a slightly larger piston. Honing can also be done I think
