For all those with a Long Country on a Ciao: Do you guys still have your kick and pedals, and, if so, did you just flatten out a section of pipe with a hammer? Has anyone done this, and will it ruin the pipe? Thanks!

don't hammer your pipe! find other workarounds!
Id have to either lose the kick and grind the frame some or lose the pedals and crank. So back to the Sito+...workaround found!
sito is weak son! bend the crankarm out, or F pedaling. just let the pedals clank around. OR upgrade to a better pipe all together. the simonini's usually dont block pedals, but some take the kick stand away. the simo circuit will let you keep your pedals, AND your kickstand
you must have the bravo/grande version, the ciao version comes with squashed header just for this, it does hurt performance a little.
I have not seen the un-squahsed ones for sale anywhere, alr, the squashed ciao ones seem much more common, and the squashed bit does hurt performance a little, so anyone with one on their bravo/grande/si/kinetic will probably trade you. I already cut that part out and welded in some straight pipe on mine, and also have an estoril, or I would.
