Small PHBGs!

Who has used a PHBG smaller than 19mm? I'm thinking about getting somewhere around a 15mm - 17mm for my 50cc Parma, for if no other reason than by not going too large and doing something a bit different. Good idea? Bad idea? I'd like to keep my throttle response crisp!

Re: Small PHBGs!

they should be available via Dellorto Direct for damn cheap. They go as small as 15. Cheap too.

Bings are simple but nearly as tuneable as the PHBG. Its depends on what you are building. A more stock bike stay with the bing, kitted, piped, clutched go with the PHBG. Price a 15mm bing and its about 2 dollars cheaper if you buy new than a PHBG. I know what I want for the money. Hmmmm......

Re: Small PHBGs!

I've used an 18mm PHBG on a 70cc RGD kit. Ran perfectly.

For the 50cc kit I'd go with a 16mm, 18mm might be overdoing it.
