pic is blurry, but sure why not? what is wrong with it?
oooh crappy pic sorry..
yeah man, nothing looks wrong besides a bit of carbon, anything we cant see?
i'm concerned about the pitting creating a bad seal...
damn i'm gonna have to re-shoot this.
yeah dude all it looks like is a bit of carbon on it that can be easily cleaned
Well, I do see the pitting.
Should be ok. Maybe sand it down a lil. Just a lil.
You have a little pitting but that is what gaskets are for, also if you are worried you can resurface it yourself. I used a wet cinder block and then finished it with some fine grit wet/dry sandpaper on a really flat metal table, turned out good.
see my new thread entitled 'better photos' ;)
take .010 off the head then buff out the pits in the combustion chamber
god, u guys r anal about ur parts that head will run just as good as one thats brand new, and i will see a slight increase in off the line performance, if u mill it. just run no head gasket it almost the same increase.
naw, elliot, we just don't know any better yet.
i dont even see the threat though really? haha where are the bad parts? even if it is roughed up which id ont really see, just have a gasket in there.
