The 80cc Metra kit will get you to actually 74cc, correct? Also, what is the spring for in the 80cc Metra kit? Here is a link to a pic. If you enlarge the pic there is a spring with the kit. I looked on another site that had the spring listed in the components that are included with the kit.

It's to tension the muffler belt
maybe the metra 80 kit isnt really for a puch e50 at all it just fits one is all. maybe that spring is for the exhaust pipe on the other application. I just wonder that because on the metrakit website it doesnt list the 80cc metrakit as a puch maxi part. I dont know for sure obviously
it fits a puch condor/monza and the spring is a stiffer one for the clutch, and yes, its a 74cc kit
its designed for the manual shift puch motors.
I thought it might be a clutch spring but it looked small. I was thinking some scooter used it. Never thought about the monza. If I get one, I will have a spring for sale Harold! LOL
Harold is scared to open up his 4 speed on the monza, he has no need for that spring.
i'd put it under my bed and take it out to polish it.
