doppler is another high RPM pipe, based off performance on the mobys ive noticed.
You probably arent going to hit it unless you have a variator
i'm not feeling labels any more just evidence. a good pipe is a good pipe anything can be done to make good results in matching engine pipe and gearing... everyone in europe looks like they use a different pipe

Those are all custom made exhausts, no Doppler part about em...
And there is a difference between exhausts. Some are better then others. But in the "expensive" range of exhausts, they are all good. Then it becomes a matter of how you want your engine to perform.
ive heard some doppler cloning on puchs is happening in the california area with great success.
if you dont want to limit yourself, go buy a jolly moto

simoninis come with a restrictor fully welded in has anyone who uses one removed this??? u would have to brake one of the header welds and reweld it on the outside to fix it. super lame.
as for a doppler on a puch think about it this way, u would have to make sure u don't mess with the tuned lenght too much when u convert the header, also not that the headers on all the good french pipes are tapered (not so on most puch pipes) and if u hack this and put in a non tapered header section its a complete waste of time the tapered header is half of what makes a pipe like this rock. wider powerband and the ability to wind out far past peak HP and rpm to take advantage of tailwinds/drafting etc.
brandon i'm actually having amazing sucess with a techno boss belive it or not on my puch polini with a 4 pedal boysen setup.
i think if u want to convert the dopper u should do some math b4 u waste ur $$$$, is it more worth it to just go french.
i built this puch last week it shreds hard, but still doesn't stand up to my yellow moby, never underestimate the power of the darkside.
this rat bike hits almost 50mph with a 16mm sha on a 13.5mm piston port intake and a 62cc kit and out accelerates/out tops/out hill climbs most puch polini setups (even 2 speeds) with 15 bings, smooth power everywhere and never brakes down or siezes its abused and daily driven, its just better.

Yeah for some reason the simonini is welded on the inside of the flange. Which shrinks down the size of the header. You have to reweld the outside then dremel out the factory weld.

i've been running my carb lean because i've had a dirty mixture in the cylinder, through the propaganda I didn't want a "high end pipe" but that comes from the regular sized cylinder people. thats means a useful pipe for larger cc'z
Expansion chambers are very similiar between both. the doppler i don't think it have to mess much it has a movable coupling thing and an extender with it. Thanks for the simonini update. Both expansion chambers are very similiar in size the doppler header looks more of a narrower powerband.
