why would a moped have ignition? why not just try to clap while using your elbows to choke and throttle and pedal start all at once? Wouldn't that be much more of a clapping feat?
agreed!......and yet?
i had that once, it sucked.
ya k'now....i didn't want to bring it to this level......i actually thought it would be funny if somebody did this.....and you talk about sex? sex? why? why? always sex? on the performance forum! (G-roll)'s only. wheree are the Geez who roll?
well in that case, you would hook up the clapper to a 115v ac timed relay. the clapper would turn it on, it would run for a few seconds, and shut off, you'd have to mod/mount a snoblower 115v ac starter motor (i've got one i'll send you if you really want to do this) and some sort of ring gear. The clapper would turn on the relay, it'd crank for a second or so, hopefully shut itself off or something.
a guy i used to know once ran his jetta through his garage door with a remote starter.
forgot a wire, and the car in gear.
thanks graham, thanks mike.....I must remember to keep it simple, er, my level(he, he)oh, and graham, hopefully the noise from the started moped would turn it(the starter off), and then maybe another switch could be activated so that it would actually have to be manually turned off, so that the bike wouldn't have the full clapper capabitlity, but you could start it?
you could hook up a lead from your lighting coil, so when it started up the relay would shut off. the mechanical problem of putting a starter motor on it seems like the biggest problem, besideds you're in sacramento, why do you need a remote starter, your bike probably doesn't take much time to warm up.
The other issue is making sure the rear wheel is always off the ground.
It can be done on electric start bikes. I am sure you can find a switch but finding something that uses low power might be hard, to run it off a battery. But if the bike has electric start it must have a good battery.
there are vox kit that you could build that run on 6-16volt
i built a few that go inside my cb radios so my radio vox hands free
the recieve freq is adjustable for loud or soft sounds
~c~
what would happen if you were riding at a rally or anywhere with a bunch of people and for some reason people started clapping? would your moped turn on and off?
