I been researching on the best stuff for my baby, so I was just wondering. What do you use?
Please note whether it is regular or synthetic or blend.

I use whatever synthetic brand Lowes has (convenience factor). I just wish they sold bigger bottles than the 3.2oz
amsoil sabre synthetic mixed 100:1
anything.
its all the same
Redline 2stroke racing oil.
No it's not all the same numb nuts
Most people in SF use Motoul800 (some use the new 2x ester version)
I personally prefer Castrol a747. It's a blend of synth and Castor based oils. It has a very high smoke point so it can deal with higher rpms. Plus nothing beats the smell.
Graham,
You actually running it at 100:1 ? That seems very lean . Ever had any seize on you ? What ped are you running it in and how many miles do you think you have logged running it that lean ?
Also,
I would still like to hook up with you on the Express pistons, please ?
Thanks,
Raz
regular cheap chainsaw oil to break in and then maxima castor 927 race oil. best 2 stroke oil on the market. run it in all my dirtbikes mopeds and equiptment. very unique smell when burning smells great.40:1 u will never sieze an engine.
sry ment 50:1
amsoil sabre is synthetic and super slippery so the website claims it can be run at 100:1. I guess graham is proof. i run synthetic racing oil 50:1.
710 motul syntheic its french, its green, and its mean. run at 30:1 in yellow moby hard as fuck
50:1 on my lower rpm bikes
Motorex RacingGP 2T or Repsol Moto in the ShredPed
Motorex mixed at 40:1 (its 100:1 capable)
Repsol mixed at 32:1
Both super synths.
Repsol Synth-blend mixed at 25:1 in the Hobbit.
normally i use the cheapo walmart supertech $5 for a gallon stuff but my cousin gave me 5 gallons of that red racing oil so i been using that
i still have a half gallon of walmart oil
i have almost a gallon of valvoline 2 stroke
and like 3 or 4 other quarts of 2 stroke
i have ebough 2 stroke oil to las me 20 years
mobil 1 synthetic racing oil
try riding for a whole season with regular 2-stroke, and then switch to synthetic at the very end of the season. you'll know the difference. it's very refreshing.
enybody ever try that oil that smells like strawberries or blueberries i seen it but i never tried it
Speedway 2cycle, regular. $2.49 a quart. Joe
i agree with sweed88...maxima castor 927 is the best.
i use the $2.99 special that you can find at gas stations.
Motul 800 or repsol. We've used everything else, Shell "Nautaulis", Valvoline, Super cheapo $8 a gallon stuff and others.
Bel-ray or Motul.
Motul is French=good.
at least 3oz per Gallon.
Richer on Ghetto rigged bikes.
yeah, from what I been reading I think I am going to order some Motul 800.
I have always been a fan of full synthetics. I'll let you guys know how it goes.
i'm currently running golden spectro premix concentrate, although from what i've read online it's one of the dirtier burning oils. i think i'm going to go with motul 800 next.
I run mu pa50 at 30:1, its in break in now i just put a kit on it but it runs like shit, it needs to be re-jetted but i pull the plug out and its wet i cant figure it out.
Mobil 1 Racing 2T
synthetic racing oil. and no it's not all the same!
+1 for Mobil 1 Racing Synthetic.
32:1 for my kitted bikes
50:1 for my stock peds
Good shit.
you think you can put french oil in an italian bike i dont think they would get along they might fight inside there
I ran Maxima 927 castor oil and had dreadful fouling. It was not a black or even dark plug but would cease to fire anyway. Here in Seattle I haven't been able to find any Mobil 1 but I would burn it if I could find it
i get my mobil one from a place called top speed in chicago. they sell performance parts for japanese cars. it's where i get the stuff for my MR2
are you talkin 2 stroke?
Mobil 1 Synthetic 2 Stroke can be found at Auto Zone for like 7.50 a bottle... hope this helps.
