peugeot simonini circuit mounting

hey, i have the simonini ciruit pipe for my peugeot with the gilardoni kits, and the pipe has a spring retainer... and i have no idea where to attach the other end... has anyone used one of these yet? i dont know whether to try to fit it onto the intake or what... its 2 springs that connect to the pipe on the sides of the header. there is no clamp or anything on the exhaust port to header, so i need to figure out where the springs are supposed to attach.
