proma circuit exhaust, kinetic tfr

i really want to put a pipe on my tfr to get better low-end, ect.

anyone know where i could get a new proma circuit exhaust, preferably in the US?

all the places i have found online are either out of stock or hint towards it taking a long time for delivery.

i was hoping that someone could point me towards a shop which might not have a website.

Re: proma circuit exhaust, kinetic tfr

you WILL NOT be able to get a proma circuit for a very long time. unless you know someone who has one that is willing to sell it. they don't even have em over seas right now dude. that pipe is harder to come by than kryptonite

proma circuit exhaust, kinetic tfr

Also, this pipe will degrade your low end, not improve it.

Re: proma circuit exhaust, kinetic tfr

any recommendations on a pipe for the tfr?

Re: proma circuit exhaust, kinetic tfr

yup! buy a polini top one exhaust or simonini

treats HQ has the simonini

zippy mopeds has the polini top one

don't get the malossi pipes unless you upgrade to a 27mm exhaust port. the polini long country is an ok pipe for 88 bucks and 197 mopeds has it

Re: proma circuit exhaust, kinetic tfr

think the simonini will definitely work on the tfr? it looks a lot more badass than the polini. performance wise, do you have any clue on which one would be the better choice, disregarding cost completely?

Re: proma circuit exhaust, kinetic tfr

not really...i know vespa exhausts fit on kinetics though. but ithink with the polini top one, you can keep your pedals, but need to remove the front fender. if i'm not mistaken, i think the simonini has more top end than the polini top one. the long country polini is equivalent to a bullet exhaust or something like that on a puch

Re: proma circuit exhaust, kinetic tfr

remember treats hq doesn't have the polini top one, they only have the polini long country

Re: proma circuit exhaust, kinetic tfr

Depending on the pipe you may run into problems in three places, the front foot pegs, the center stand, and the pedals and/or pedal sprocket, though they did move the crank up on the newer tfr usas like yours (got to find me one of those sub-frames). The polini straight pipe and the proma circuit fit without modification for sure,

I am not sure about the others, looks like center stand goes for tecno circuit, and the front pegs go with the top one.., but I scored one of the two tecno estorils from treats, and can't wait to weld that puppy up, for low end you want one of those or the similiar leo vince if you can find one. Read up on them in the two stroke tuners handbook so you get an idea for what the various dimentions do.

Re: proma circuit exhaust, kinetic tfr

Hey brian what pipe are you running on your tfr????

Re: proma circuit exhaust, kinetic tfr

He is running proma circuit too. Okay enoug net peddlin between plug chops and changing jets, i'm getting back out into that sun.

Re: proma circuit exhaust, kinetic tfr

I ordered two Proma Circuits from ScooterTuning.ch in Switzerland last week. I got the link from www.kinetictfr.com. I had to use Babel Fish translation a lot on that site. Apparently they were in stock and sent but who knows when or if they will get here. It was about $250 for two pipes with shipping. It was probably a pretty risky order. If I would have known about the Simonini circuit at Treats I think I would have ordered one of those instead.
