peugeot 103 pipe

ok, so i searched the hell out of it, but i cant seem to figure out if there are any sweet expansion pipes that will fit on my peugeot 103 and allow me to keep my pedals... i was looking at the kenji vario, and also at the leo vince expansion pipes. does anyone know for certain if either one of them will fit with the pedals?

Re: peugeot 103 pipe

2. click performance on the top nav bar

3. click peugeot on the left nav bar

4. click 103 on the left nav bar

alsil quick 55.61

bidalot 157.8

doppler er1 160.76

Re: peugeot 103 pipe

www.50cc.nl <----sorry previous link didn't work

Re: peugeot 103 pipe

www.quarterkick.com has peugeot pipes also

Re: peugeot 103 pipe

oh, yeah... i know that. haha, i look at RCV and i forget the other french site... i want to know which ones i can fit and keep the pedals... if that wasnt an issue i would get the doppler, or try to find one of those multi-peice bidalots.

Re: peugeot 103 pipe

prices seem quite a bit better than 50cc as well. for the peugeot pipes anyways.

Re: peugeot 103 pipe

look for:

ninja <might require slight right side pedal mod, but guy in seattle has one on and pedaling

leovinci <sucks though

gianelli <i like

Re: peugeot 103 pipe

crap the html auto filter ate my post

ninja: might require right pedal mod, guy in seattle has one and is pedaling.

leovinci: the one that looks like a brick with the silencer angled out the back sucks though.

gianneli: i like it.

Re: peugeot 103 pipe

damn, the leovinci expansion one and the kenji vario are the cheap ones. i might end up having to go with the ninja, though. i mean, between the g3 and the gianelli... but they are pricier.

Re: peugeot 103 pipe

can you get a gianelli?

Re: peugeot 103 pipe

no clue. haha, i thought that you were saying that it would fit.

Re: peugeot 103 pipe

yeah gianellis fit. but finding one is the problem

Re: peugeot 103 pipe

on the subject of peugeots...dont suppose anyone has a reed valve assemlby handy so they could measure the bolt pattern for me?

Re: peugeot 103 pipe

i have doppler on my 103 couldn't keep the pedals, but who needs them?

not me.

i think i could do the reed valve thing for you later, i have the stock one in a back because i replaced it with a 4 reed mallossi.

Re: peugeot 103 pipe

The bolt pattern is the same as polini puch kits and tomos, btw.

Re: peugeot 103 pipe

i need pedals! haha. and is the gianelli the only pipe that will fit?

Re: peugeot 103 pipe

with pedals i mean.

Re: peugeot 103 pipe

gianelli is not the only pipe that will keep pedals.

but quit talking about the G pipe, it doesnt exist. or if you know a place that has them, let me know.

Re: peugeot 103 pipe

Re: peugeot 103 pipe

so what other pipes will fit? or is the gianelli that bad-ass?

Re: peugeot 103 pipe

ninja

leo

polini discontinued a nice one a few years ago too

Re: peugeot 103 pipe

The ninja works fine with the pedals and is nice pipe. The pipe is well built, but you might need to switch to a slighly more kicked out pedal arm for the pipe side. Kevin gave me a pedal arm from the scrap bin and it works perfect. I purchased my pipe from these folks:

Re: peugeot 103 pipe

Re: peugeot 103 pipe

My understanding is that if you put a bend in one of the crank arms you can make one fit and keep the pedals.

Re: peugeot 103 pipe

You need pedals in BC and some other places unless you want to run with a motorcycle plate. Besides that they are good in emergencies if you have a break down.

Re: peugeot 103 pipe

I do have a reed valve out. How do want it measured?

Re: peugeot 103 pipe

yes, if you wouldnt mind measuring it that would be fantastic! thanks

Re: peugeot 103 pipe

could someone please please measure it for me?
