My 78 maxi has a 13 front tooth (not 14 like I thought) and a 45 rear tooth. I thought that they were 12/14/16/18. I counted several times too. Anyone else have a 13 toother? And how hard is it to change that out?

Easy to change, just one circlip, pop it off with some circlip pliers, and then wiggle the sprocket, you won't even have to un-do the chain, just adjust your tensioner in for a bigger sprocket, and turn them out for a smaller one.

Their are also 15's.
You can put a 15 or 16 on and it'll still run fine.
