So i ordered these "boots" online. they are WAYYY too big for forks lol. so i thought how can i use these? how about this? would help quite the bike a little, and maybe even move when i dump the throttle. i have a clear floatbowl, HPI ignition and maybe this.

what pressure? it's a uni pod. you only get pressure when the support spring inside accidentally squishes the foam because of the frame or side covers or whatever. that's why i didn't like mine. have you tried running with and without the uni? if you can notice even the slightest difference, then you shouldn't have to ask whether the tube will affect the flow either. i would think that a longer tube would require more force to pull in the air due to fluid friction, especially with the corrugation, but at that length it shouldn't be very noticable unless it has a sharp bend. that's just my speculation.

there is no difference in performance, tecnically u can run a bigger jet with no air filter but i mean you wouldnt notice one size up.
air filters are on there just to make sure we dont fuck our shit up.

Wont give much problems, if the tube material is rigid enough to hold the filter up.

I prefer stock filters on Puch, drilled with some extra holes for more air.
I like em better cuz they keep the loud intake sound in a bit, and cops here are very very interested in intake sound :P
Harold, there is a similar air filter tube like that, for the 17mm Bing, when used other than on an Magnum XK, is a ram air system. Go for it, I say ! Brent
That's going to be loud as hell, but it sure is a wacky look!
Just be sure to slap it on a bike that looks equally wacky...I'd hate to see that sort of thing on my no-nonsense bike! However, a bike that has been customized for a more extreme look would work just fine.
Shape shouldn't make too much of a difference when the diameter is that large. if it was smaller, I'd worry about it though.
I'd say hook it around so it faces forward for ram air and use streched pantyhose instead of that restricting UNI thing. but if you really wanna make it worth it I think those ridges may be restricting a little. but with somthing that big I'll bet it is only like a .0005% or something.
the bendy ridges wont affect airflow that much, like hippy said. and again make it face forward, that will make it work better. it being far away from engine heat is a good thing. cooler is better when it comes to air induction.
