turbo puch

Re: turbo puch

Looks nice, but I don't see it riding yet. It immediatly stalls after throttle. Would be nice if it really worked tho.

Re: turbo puch

Looks like its a super charger, looks like it runs off of that belt. wonder what they used to make it.

Re: turbo puch

If you look at the website that's posted in the description, you can see how they build it.

You could probably build your own out of an old turbocharger or something. The hard part would be to get the amount of air & the timing on the cilinder right.

Re: turbo puch

wow, crazy

would be interesting to be able to read that website, its all garbled on my comp. looks like totally stock engine otherwise, with a stock port. interesting.

Re: turbo puch

in car jargon, thats a supercharger, because it runs off of a belt & pulley system. turbos are mounted off of exhaust ports, and then plummed to air intake ports. the compressor fan on supercharges is belt driven. this would be actually pretty easy to make if you get a tiny, yet strong fan to connect to your intake, and run the pulley to the engine drive chain, then connect that to the air intake port on the carbuerator..i might try and make one of these myself.

Re: turbo puch

the unburnt fuel would pour out the exhaust port. doesnt work with two strokes. maybe if it was an indian it would work. cause then the intake would open and the exhaust would close and then you can pack all the fuel in there without having it blow out the exhaust.
