how fast is it??
about 43-45 ish give or take
i no there was a part about 5 years ago that upgraded your internal gear ratios. does anyone know what this part specificlly is called or where i can get one thank you
how are you running that slow? i have a 2007 lx with a bi-turbo, 58 jet, stock airbox, and a 22 rear sprocket and i top out at 43-44mph.
Did your pipes bolt right up or did you bend them to fit ?
All the shops tell me there is no pipe that will bolt up to an 07 LX, they have to be heated and bent.
??????
thanks,
JimS
ya i hadda heat um....wat pipe u gettin
Hey are you that kid that went to buy my moped, told me it was a piece of shit, bought a new one, and then flipped it the next day on a gravel road and totalled it? Excuse me if it isnt you
not me sorry lol...sounds like an asshole tho lol
i got a bi-turbo heated and bent. it broke on me 4 times, i had to reweld the braket. good pipe tho, great top end.
Didnt think it was you. He fucked that bike up pretty good,
I was thinking a "Technigas next" pipe, but a "biturbo" is quite a bit cheaper,... hmmmm.
Were you able to to retain the centerstand?, or did you go to a sidestand?
How is the right side corning clearance with a bent pipe?
Did you bolt to the exhaust befor bending, or what?
Any bracket work to make it fit?
thanks,
JimS
it has MUCH better clearance than the older model tomoses with bi turbos, it will not bolt on before bending, i kept the centerstand and as for a mount, get a spare engine mount bolt and use that but use washers or a longer, tubular spacer in between the frame mount and the exhaust bracket. i'd also suggest rubber washers.
technigas next pipes would be the way to go, ya biturbos are great in all but they only increase the top speed about 5-10 mph although the technigas pipes increase top speed and the acceleration trust me its what you want !!!
I would go buy a bigger jet pin for the carb if you take the bottom black piece off you'll see a brass screw that has a number you should have like a 58 size , but you should upgade to a like 96 or 98>
alex, you dont sound too familiar with the a55's, their stock jet is a 55 and a 96 is WAY too big, unless he's running a 19+mm carb. the a55 doesnt need anymore torque and the technigas's weight is not fairly supported by the mount, the bi-turbo is even pushing it.
