I'm quoting someone there, but can't remember who :)
Here's my latest incantation
Looks sweet, too bad it blocks the pedal shaft hold though. Where are the shocks?
Foot pegs on the back is all I need.
The shock is on the right side. Modified :)
Check out the hero gears
What is the gearing on this? Good thing you're in flat florida, everywhere else and it'd take an hour to get to 30!
running 16/24 gears on 16 wheels
is that the simonini?
looks bitchin fast
Charlie ... nice to see the small gear on the back of your ped! We must meet again for a rematch! Equal playing field.Brent
It's all for you....
It ain't done yet :)
BTW that was a techno estril
why such a small rear gear how the fuck do u get going??
Elliot, Charlie's E50 has a radical, modified 3 shoe clutch, that just rips. I have no doubt it pulls that gear very well! Brent
I will be in Tampa Nov 2nd. I'm bringing my helmet as speeds over 60mph tend to get a lil' hairy, but what a rush!!! Hope to see you there. Brent
nice bike, besides the radical pipe and shock setup its very similar setup to mine.
that header seems a little long and thin, but i dig the up the side and out the back look
I have to see a video of that thing getting up to 15 mph in under 10 minutes with that gearing, performance clutch or not. You must have to run up to 15 mph and then jump on it to get it to go
i dont understand. how can u only have one shock?
thats sweet though bet that shit is LOUD!
yeah. have you sat on it? does it sit way low with only one shock? curious how long the swingarm bushing accepts this.
The hole shot is quite good. The clutch doesn't fully engage unitl ~30mph. Then it's on and poppin'
Heavy swing arm mods to clear the chain line. Brakes are on the right side as well. Tomos brakes are better than Puch :)
Shortened the shock 3/4 inch to help with the chain line. It works fine. I can bounce on it and it won't bottom.
I'm thinking of cutting 1.5" off the forks. Clip ons have been ordered. I want a cafe fairing.
Cut the seat tube off and lowered the seat as far as it would go. It's a shorty.
Yeah, it's loud as fuck. It's got a killer crrackle sound to it.
Hardest part was getting all that clear glop off the estril. Nice coat of BBQ black on it now.
Glad you guys like the bike.
Man I miss my puch! Nice ride my friend
Charlie... you keep gettin' lower to the ground to:
cut wind resistance?
to get a better smell of two-stroke, from my twins? ;) J/K my friend.
You do have me nervous, I may lose the title. That's what it's all about ! I can't wait til' we meet again :) Brent
Good Healthy Competition to the Top
I think you've got an advantage with your airsal vs. by macho and the 2 speed helps as well.
The macho doesn't make the power of a airsal or MK.
I need to look elsewhere for speed.
Not going to make it to Tampa.
We need another St. Lucie ride!
See you off the front of the pack.
YES WE DO NEED ANOTHER ST. LUCIE RIDE!
It's gonna happen.
The Maxi is looking rad Charlie.
And for those who haven't seen it in person, it's bad ass.
Brent's bike isn't too shabby either ; )
Justini - LOL!
As soon as I hit post... I noticed and busted out laughing.
Too many Italian bikes!
I'll let Kenny (Mr. Jawa) know about the ride. He'll be stoked! He just picked up a nice maxi.
We're doing a biker bar tonite. They love the ped.
I'll bring the bleach bottle :)
What happened to that video of my big burnout?
Post that shit up!
bleach burnouts on mopeds give your pants white spots
i wanna see this clutch deal in action hard to believe it working so well
i have a similar clutch installed on my motobecane, its a 3 shoe dry clutch mounted to the pully wheel instead of the crank shaft, super smooth.
it doesn't engauge at all until 5000 rpm, then it hits when im in the power band and rippin away and it fully engauges around 25 or so i guess, which happens in about 20 feet, then the bike zooms up to 50+ faster than any moped i've ever ridden.
u south east guys need to bring ur shit west coast and battle it out with our superpeds
I wish I could get out that way, and if I ever do, I will "Bring It"! Brent
