Would mounting a 14:12 dellorto on a puch have any noticeable difference over the normal 15 bing I have on there now?

Yes, it should make a difference. Swapping a 15mm for a 12mm would probably give you a noticeable reduction in power. Not the kind of difference your looking for I imagine.
shit. my finger skipped a step, it should say 14 bing wit ha 14 intake
Do the math... You go from 14mm to 12mm, would that imrpove anything? Yes, fuel economy...
But you will have a better carb. 15/15 is what you want.
Make it a 14.14, dremel the 12mm side to match.
We use a power drill and a 14mm drill bit, works great and makes for an even, round throat. Gotta go slow with aluminum though. And you have to be careful of brass immulsion tube. 14.12's seal straight to a bing intake, btw.
That's b/c you guys are fancy! Me, not so much.
i'd take a bing over an SHA dellorto, they seem to be bitchier to tune, and run funny at part throttle cause they dont have a needle to tweak.
a phbg on the other hand... much better!
