HELP: VESPA CIAO TUNING

I gotta basic ciao that goes 28-30 mph…i just got paid and want to get this beast flyin. STOCK CARB:I gotta dellorto SHA12/10 on it right now…, but how much difference will a Dellorto SHA13/13 w/mallossi performance red Airfilter + Polini Marmitta Mod Top One racing exhaust make??? Help me out…I want my bike to be outta control sometime soon! Also does the basic ciao have a 10mm or 12 mm wrist pin?

DO NOT get that polini pipe unless you are getting a kit, as well...you will be BUMMED!

Ciaos came with both cranks. You have to take the cylinder off and measure with a caliper...well, you should be able to tell, but just be safe and measure it.

Also, you are measuring the wrist pin size.

the SITO exhaust is awesome for stock Ciaos (they also look stock) as well as upgrading your carb. Maybe even getting a variator??

Ciao kits are rad, but it's not as simple as just kitting a Puch.

Not as easy, but way more funner, and much more better!

totally more better.

You can literally replace every part of that engine with a performance racing part.

Google smitty too, he has youtube videos and directions.

That kinetic blog is a good hub for info generally.

I think in order to make the 13.13 carb effective you need to drill out your cases. There is a proper way to do it.

Here is the wrong way!
