mine fell out so im kinda screwed for now but my question is i was told all the way in is lean and all the way out is rich. Im a little confused because if its in all the way wouldn't that restrict the air therfore making the mix rich or what?

on the 14/12 etc the screw just raises and lowers the throttle slide a little to adjust the idle. in means higher idle, out means lower idle.
i have a 19mm phbg cable choke the idle screw is fine im talking about the other much smaller brass screw that i was told is the air mixture screw im trying to get a confirmation of wich way is less air and more air
Out is more air AND richer. The air is just a small amount that 'bubbles' gas up through a small channel. Less air means less bubbling up of gas and leaner. Almost all gasoline carburettors use this technique in the idle circuit
ok thanks, just weird i figured more air is gonna lean out the mix but clear now
so let me get this right in my mind.....
Screw the idle screw in for a higher idle speed and to make it leaner?
screw the idle screw out for lower idle speed and richer?
No not talking about idle screw. I'm talking about the air mixture screw on a dellorto phbg
